Polyether-ether ketone
The material satisfies wide combination of strict requirements to mechanica, chemical, thermal, and electrical properties. The polymer could be reinforced with glass fiber, carbon fiber, and PTFE, etc.
Features:
- the material could be long-term exploited up to +260°С (short term - +310°С);
- resistant to hydrolisys, acids, alkalies, alifatic and aromatic hydrocarbons;
- radiation stable;
- exists in powder form for using in additive technologies;
- it has higher strength than aluminium, steel and metal alloys.
Applications:
- semi-finisjed products (sheets, rods, etc.) for further mechanical processing;
- 3D printing filaments;
- films, fibers;
- could be processed with extrusion and molding.
