Polycarbonate
It is transparent polymer with very high impact resistance, thermal and dimentional stability. The polymer itself is UV-resistant. It could me obtained with flame retardant properties.
Features:
- transparent material with light transmittance of 90%;
- very impact resistant in wide temperature range, -100°С – 135°С;
- excellent mechanical properties, dimentional stability, dielectrical nature;
- can be modified for improving UV-resistance;
- good color acceptance with saving transparency but could be also made opaque;
- there are grades for cladding with metal foils;
- there are transparent grades with improved mechanical properties and resistance to oils (Si-PC);
- there are light diffusing grades with different light transmittance index.
